COMMUNITY groups are invited to attend a forum to be hosted by the Tasmanian Community Fund at New Norfolk on February 20. The evening will provide details on how to maximise the chance of receiving a grant.
The fund provides grants for a broad range of projects that improve Tasmania’s social, economic and environmental wellbeing. Since 2000 the fund has allocated $58.6 million to more than 1700 projects across the state.
There is about $2.5 million available for distribution in the next round. Expressions of interest close on February 29 (large grants), March 21 (small grants) and April 4 (medium grants).
