Morphing in to Willow Court

THE federation-era nurses’ home at Willow Court is one of the gems of the historic site. Built in two stages in 1913 and 1927, the buildings have been in private ownership for several years and have benefited from ongoing restoration by owner Hayden Pearce. The buildings have been host to the New Norfolk OASIS Men’s Shed and several artisans, and now there are several retail units and the prospect of more to come.

Already trading are Patchwork in the Willows, a spinoff from the popular nearby Patchwork Cafe (Facebook page here), and Touch of Earth (Gumtree page here), soon to be followed by Morf Antiques (Facebook page) who are branching out from their existing Circle St premises.

The owners of this section of Willow Court operate Willow Court Antiques and the Willow Court Motel and their other tenants include the Olive Tree Restaurant. They have established a new blog and Facebook page to promote the various activities on the site.
