BANJO’S Bakery now has a choice of locations for its new premises in New Norfolk. The Derwent Valley Council has issued a second permit to the bakery chain, this time covering the former Retravision premises at 20 High St. Earlier this month it was announced that a permit had been issued for a bakery in a former supermarket at 38 High St. Both are prime sites in New Norfolk’s central business district.
In other business news, renovations are being carried out in the recently-closed Country Florals Florist at 33 High St. It is understood that this will be home to two small businesses, offering giftware and electrical goods.
