NEW Norfolk youngsters will be provided with a free barbecue and activities at Ellis Dean Reserve every second Wednesday afternoon to coincide with the fortnightly half-days observed by most schools in the town. The initiative started yesterday and is provided by Mission Australia Youth Connections program, supported by Colony 47 and the New Norfolk Business Alliance.
From 12.15-2.15pm on “student free” Wednesdays there will be a free barbecue, music, sport and information. An alternative location will be provided if the weather is unsuitable. Click on the image below for a larger version.
