UNDER 13: New Town White defeated Gretna at Queens Walk. Gretna batted first and made 6/105 from 20 overs. Jack Stevenson made a hard hitting 34 Ret (2-6s & 4-4s), Josh Eyles smashed 20no (3-4s), Blake Eyles 11 (1-4), Ryan Browning 9 retired. New Town responded with 3/111 from 20 overs. Blake Eyles bowled a miserly 1/6 (2 overs), Josh Eyles completed a fine double with 1/11 (2 overs) and Ryan Emery also with a fine double 1/22  (4 overs). Next match Gretna v Molesworth Gold at Gretna on Sunday at 9am.

UNDER 15: An excellent match was played between Gretna and Molesworth on Sunday. Two stand outs for the match were Josh Farrow of Gretna and Dakoda Smith of Molesworth who both did well with the bat and ball as well as a great job in the field with Farrow also taking two catches. Great sportsmanship was shown by both sides. Molesworth put on a very good day with their two Under 13 sides playing each other before the Under 15s match and a free barbecue for all was much appreciated.

Gretna 5 for 138 off 39 overs defeated Molesworth 10 for 112 off 35 overs at Boyer Oval. Gretna batting: Josh Farrow 58no (8-4s), Reece Williams 26 (2-4s), Nathan Eyles 11 (2-4s), Nathan Wakefield 11no (1-4). Molesworth bowling: Austin York 2-25 (5), Dakoda Smith 1-10 (8), Jack Evans 1-16 (5), Adrian Long 1-33 (5). Molesworth batting: Dakoda Smith 18 (3-4s), Josh Ransley 14 (2-4s), Jack Evans 11 (1-4), B. Pauly 10no (1-4). Gretna bowling: Josh Farrow 4-6 (5), Reece Williams 2-12 (3), Luke Crosswell 1-6 (3), Jamie Davidson 1-8 (3), Josh Whitford-Marriott 1-14 (2), Nick Wakefield 1-15 (3). Next matches this Sunday at 12.30: Gretna v Kingborough at Gretna and Molesworth v University Black at Boyer Oval.
