THE fuel-reduction burn on New Norfolk’s Peppermint Hill provided spectacular scenes of smoke and fire late into the evening last night.
Resources mobilised for the event included a medium tanker and heavy tanker from the Tasmania Fire Service, two light tankers from Forestry Tasmania, and 10 light tankers, one medium tanker and two cars from the Parks and Wildlife Service.
