A PARTNERSHIP between the Derwent Valley Youth Future Action Team (D’FAT) and the local Salvation Army Corps will continue in the new year, D’FAT chairman Nic Kaiser has announced.
Mr Kaiser said it had been agreed to renew the agreement at the November D’FAT meeting. “This renewal comes following the partnership agreement gaining continued support and endorsement from the Derwent Valley Salvation Army,” he said.
D’FAT Facilitator Matt Hill said it had been more than a year since D’FAT began its partnership with the Derwent Valley Salvation Army. “This partnership agreement has provided opportunities for D’FAT and the Salvation Army to work together to benefit the Derwent Valley community, families, children and young people,” Mr Hill said.
“This agreement has also provided D’FAT with a long-term location for their meetings, indoor New Norfolk activities and secure storage of equipment,” he said.
