THE New Norfolk News has been given a complete overhaul just in time for its 12th birthday later this week. Local developer Andrew Lockman had charge of the project to update the site, which posted its first news report on July 2, 2008.
After 2.3 million page views and 5694 news items, upgrading of the site was long overdue. The new look coincides with a move to the WordPress platform, which is used by Australia’s major media companies for their news sites. A new domain name is now in use, with newnorfolknews.com replacing newsnn.net.

Looks good, do the comments work on this version?
Hi Simon, comments worked (most of the time) on the previous version but not all can be approved due to their content. This version appears to allow direct communication with the writers, so it will be possible to discuss potential modifications to comments for legal reasons, which was not possible before.
The page is a little ugly at the very bottom, the subscribe to etc isnt aligned properly to the pic next to it.
The comments input section didnt work at all on my phone, this new site does.
Great work
You seem to have lost a link to the RSS feed, though the feed itself is working.
Big improvement on a valuable Community asset – very professional layout –
