Charges laid over incidents at New Norfolk and Magra

POLICE have laid charges against three men and a woman in relation to incidents at New Norfolk and Magra, and held the four people in custody until a court appearance today.

In relation to the alleged discharge of a firearm at Benjamin Tce, New Norfolk, a 31-year-old man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, as well as common assault, recklessly discharging a firearm, two counts of breaching an interim family violence order, two counts of breach of bail, and firearm possession offences.

In relation to the disturbance at Back River Road, Magra, a 39-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary, common assault and destruction of property. A 31-year-old man has been charged with three counts of common assault, and driving offences, and a 30-year-old woman was charged with two counts of wounding.
