New Norfolk News: Next issue on the streets tomorrow

THE second issue of the print edition of New Norfolk and Derwent Valley News will be available tomorrow, Friday, August 14. The paper will be on sale throughout the Derwent Valley, while more distant readers might like to download a copy from this website.

Following last month’s free introductory issue, each month’s paper will be priced at $2. Sellers include the New Norfolk Newsagency, Riteway New Norfolk (John Sevastopoulos), Eagle Snack Bar, New Norfolk IGA (Fairview), Bushy Park Roadhouse, Westerway Roadhouse, Ellendale Post Office and Hamilton Post Office. 

Readers in any part of Tasmania can ask their preferred newsagency to order them a copy via the Mercury as the distribution agent.

  1. w0w let us break it down…. pick an average of 30 days a month. I did the math the good old way in my head. Even for rounding up to 7 cents a day got to be a very good value for catching up with local news.

    Just summing up with the amount of money from decision markers contributing to the paper I’m saying thank you.

  2. The combination of time & thoughts ( all the voices ) becoming an experiment in expression of ideas & thoughts. A commitment to the readers & the paper to ‘Let Us Think.’ There are a lot of things quite special about the way the idea can be developed.
    What is in it for you the reader & the community? The simple answer is empowerment. Where you can put some meat on the bones. 0h ya what is that? The opportunity to develop your relationship with T&T and writing to this your Local paper. The door that is opening for you to ‘HAVE YOUR SAY’ becomes a reality in real time. Here is an example?
