HEAVY rainfall and reduced visibility has prompted the Bureau of Meteorology to issue a Road Weather Alert for the Upper Derwent Valley and other parts of Tasmania today.

Reduced visibility in heavy rain and water on roads will make road conditions dangerous during Sunday in parts of the North East, Central Plateau, Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts.
