Warning to sheep graziers – Monday and Tuesday

THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Upper Derwent Valley, King Island, North West Coast, Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts.

Issued at 4:02 am on Monday, August 3, 2020.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Monday, with southerly winds on Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include the South East forecast district Monday, and the King Island and South East forecast districts and parts of the North West Coast, Midlands, East Coast and Upper Derwent Valley forecast districts on Tuesday. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The next warning will be issued by 11am Monday.
