THE fourth issue of the print edition of New Norfolk and Derwent Valley News will be available tomorrow, Friday, October 16. The wait has been a little longer since the September issue, due to there being five Fridays in October.
A growing number of Northern Suburbs newsagencies is now selling the paper, for those with an interest in the local news of the Derwent Valley and Central Highlands.
Tomorrow’s issue is another 28-page-paper, containing about 50 individual news items, plus your letters and two pages of puzzles.
There is a special two-page feature on the New Norfolk Ambulance Station’s 50th anniversary, including some great photos. There’s another recipe from the Magra CWA, local history, the Willow Court latest, and council news you won’t get anywhere else.
In the Derwent Valley, the shops stocking the paper include the New Norfolk Newsagency, Riteway New Norfolk, Eagle Snack Bar, New Norfolk IGA, Mood Food New Norfolk, Bushy Park Roadhouse, Westerway Roadhouse, Ellendale Post Office, Hamilton Post Office and the Bothwell Supermarket.
Other sellers include the Lagoon Store, Granton; Claremont Newsagency; Bridgewater Newsagency; Covehill Newsagency; Kingston Nextra; Longford Newsagency; Gagebrook IGA Express; Glenorchy Central News; Moonah News and the New Town Plaza.
Readers in any part of Tasmania can ask their preferred newsagency to order them a copy via the Mercury as the distribution agent. New Norfolk residents can ask the friendly team at the New Norfolk Newsagency to organise for a paper seller to visit within the town boundaries. More distant readers might prefer to download a copy from newnorfolknews.com.
The support of readers and advertisers is greatly appreciated. Feedback on the paper is invited by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
