SPONSORS have been thanked for their ongoing generous support of the Lions Club of New Norfolk’s annual end-of-year raffle.
“At the end of a fairly challenging year, big-hearted local sponsors have once again made wonderful contributions to the prize pool for the Lions Club Christmas raffle,” club president Kerry Kievit said.
“This raffle will make Christmas a bit more special for a few lucky members of our community. We have been able to keep the price of tickets low at just $1 and, for the first time, this year we are selling both online and paper tickets.”
First prize is $600 to spend at Woolworths supermarkets; second prize is a $200 meal voucher from the New Norfolk Hotel and third prize is an $150 voucher to spend at RE Clark and Sons butcher. Fourth prize is a $50 Bush Inn meal voucher and fifth prize is $50 to spend at Fairview IGA Express supermarket.
Lions Club member Ricky Jackson and his team have started selling paper tickets and will be on duty outside the New Norfolk Guardian Pharmacy one day each week, including November 6 and 12. Information about other days and times will be provided on the Lions Club Facebook page.
For the first time, tickets in the raffle can also be purchased online until December 17. The raffle will be drawn on December 18.
