SEVEN people were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital following a two-car crash on Boyer Rd at Dromedary last night.
Sergeant Garth Hossack of Tasmania Police said the crash was the result of a head-on collision between a red Ford Fairmont driving towards Bridgewater and a purple Holden Commodore heading to New Norfolk. The incident took place between Millvale and Tongatabu roads.
“The 38-year-old female driver of the Commodore sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital where she is currently in a serious condition,” Sgt Hossack said at 1.30 this morning. The other three occupants of the Holden were taken to the hospital for observation.
“The 19-year-old driver and two passengers in the Ford also sustained injuries and were taken to the RHH,” Sgt Hossack said.
