Fire Weather Warning
for the Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts

Weather Situation
Hot and strong west to northwesterly winds develop during Saturday afternoon and ease Saturday evening. During Saturday, Very High fire danger ratings are forecast across parts of the Southeast and Upper Derwent Valley forecast districts, as well as southern parts of the Midlands district. In those areas, temperatures are expected to reach around 30 degrees, west to northwesterly winds around 50 km/h and RH down to around 20%.

Very High Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts: Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley and South East. The Tasmania Fire Service advises you to:

- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
