Among the 28 pages of purely local news is information about the Christmas in July function being held at The Valley Sports Bar (former football clubrooms) next weekend. On the evening of July 24 the venue will host a traditional two-course dinner with live entertainment. Tickets to the Christmas in July cost $50 and are limited to 150. Bookings are essential.
