POLICE have advised that a man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Boyer Rd near Dromedary earlier tonight (Thursday).
Volunteers from the New Norfolk Fire Brigade and Derwent Valley State Emergency Service joined police and ambulance officers in responding to the accident, which occurred around 7.30pm. The road was closed for about three hours following the crash.
“Police are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time,” a Tasmania Police spokesperson said.
