Donation keeps the horse show on the road

THE Derwent Valley Horse Riders Association is grateful to have received a donation from Tegan Rainbird of Petrusma Property that has enabled the club to purchase a trailer for storing and transporting heavy show-jumping equipment.

A jumps trailer has been on the club’s wish list for a long time and because of Tegan’s generosity it has finally come to fruition. The fabrication to change the ordinary car trailer into a user-friendly jumps trailer was done by Alex Lane and the spray painting was done by Phillip Quarrell did a superb spray job. Both are members of the local community.

This jumps trailer will enable the club to run a variety of equine events to engage the local and greater Hobart community while making setup and pack-up much easier for the club members.
