Gretna Red Cross morning tea provides power for humanity

THE decades-old tradition of the Gretna Red Cross morning tea continues next week with a special event raising funds for victims of the Queensland and New South Wales floods and the war in Ukraine. Branch president Nichola Ball said this “At Home and Abroad” fundraiser would be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 5, at Uralla, Main Rd, Hamilton. Look for the balloons.

As well as a delicious morning tea, there will be stalls offering cakes, produce, plants and white elephant, as well as a raffle. “Come along, bring a friend, meet old ones, make new ones, and enjoy a great morning while supporting Red Cross and the Power of Humanity at work,” Nichola said.
