Petrol prices go through the roof

THE price of petrol burst through the $2 mark at several local outlets today, with fuel prices reportedly rising around the world due to responses to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As of 9pm this evening, petrol costs more than $2 per litre at the three stations in New Norfolk’s town centre, and just under $2 on the northern side of the river.
