New Norfolk women score second win in a row

THE new-look New Norfolk senior women’s football team today scored its second big win of the season so far, defeating Claremont by 140 points in a Good Friday match at Boyer Oval this morning. The Eagles scored 21.15 (141) to the Magpies’ 0.1 (1).

Best for New Norfolk were Sophie Farrow, Melinda Green, Chloe Ford, Grace Kube, Jasmine Skelly and Olivia Harriss. Green led the goal-kicking with seven majors to her name, followed by Ford who scored five. Zoie Crawford and Tayhlar Tangata scored three apiece while Jaymee Mansfield scored two and Olivia Harris 1.
