POLICE are at the scene of an incident at a residence in Humphrey St, New Norfolk. A man has been taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital with what is reported to be a gunshot wound.
A woman, known to the man, has been arrested at the scene, and police have located the firearm allegedly involved in the incident.
Tasmania Police assures the community that this was a isolated incident between people known to each other, and there is no threat to the wider community.
