Final Flood Watch for North East and South East catchments

RIVER LEVELS EASING ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA DURING TUESDAY
Showery conditions will continue during Tuesday as a low pressure system moves well away to the southeast. Catchments are relatively wet across the flood watch area and rivers are responsive to rainfall.
In the 24 hours to 11:00 am Tuesday rainfall totals of 5-50 mm have been observed in the flood watch area. Further rainfall totals of 5-10 mm are forecast for the remainder of Tuesday.
River levels are easing across the flood watch area during Tuesday. Strong and dangerous flows may be a hazard over the next few days.
Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchments:
- East Coastal Rivers (north of Bicheno)
- Ringarooma River
- North Coastal Rivers
- Channel Coastal Rivers (South East Cape to Gordon)
- Derwent River
- East Coastal Rivers (south of Bicheno)
- South East
Flood warnings are current for: North Esk River, South Esk River, Meander River, Macquarie River and Jordan River.
