MOST of the candidates in the Derwent Valley Council election will take part in a “meet the candidates” session in the function room at The Valley Sports Bar in New Norfolk tomorrow (Saturday).
Organiser Steve Balmforth said the event would provide an opportunity for those interested to hear a two-minute address by each candidate, followed by three minutes for questions. If all 18 candidates take part the event will last for about 90 minutes. The room is booked for two hours and discussions will be able to continue in the bar afterwards.
The event will be held at 3pm at The Valley Sports Bar (former football clubrooms) at 21 Back River Rd.
