Spring clean your lockdown items for charity

MANY of us accumulated extra books, puzzles, DVDs and CDs to keep us entertained during the lockdown period of the coronavirus pandemic. For anyone wondering what to do with all those items now that the lockdowns have ended, the Derwent Valley Rotary Club has the perfect solution.

Over the next few weeks Rotary will be accepting donations for its upcoming book and DVD sale, and these can be left with Rotarian Janine Clifford at the Quilted Teapot in Bathurst St, New Norfolk, or Rotararian Liz Virtue at Glen Derwent on Hamilton Rd, New Norfolk.

All the donated items will be sold at the giant book and DVD sale to be held at the end of October. Money raised through the three-day sale will support local charities and events.
