Warning to sheep graziers

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Upper Derwent Valley, Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts

Issued at 4.45pm on Tuesday 15 November 2022.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include the East Coast and South East forecast districts and parts of the Midlands and Upper Derwent Valley forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the King Island, Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Central North and North East forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 11pm Tuesday.
