Easter market and egg hunt

NEW NORFOLK MARKET: Celebrate Easter Saturday at the Friendliest Market in Tasmania with an Easter Egg Hunt, a visit from Easter Bunny, stalls, music, hot food, ice cream van, and more. The market runs from 8am to 2pm in High St and Charles St, New Norfolk. At 11am, children and their parents are invited to meet at Arthur Square for an Easter egg hunt. At Lees Corner see the Heilan Coos Homestead.

Football season opener

BOYER OVAL: The three New Norfolk Eagles men’s teams will play Claremont in the 2023 SFL season opener. 10am on Good Friday, fresh from their huge win over South East Suns in the season opener.

Good Friday, April 7: St Patrick’s Church, Bothwell, 10am; St Peter’s Church, New Norfolk, 3pm.
Saturday Easter Vigil, April 8: St Peter’s Church, New Norfolk, 6pm.
Easter Sunday, April 9: St Patrick’s Church, Bothwell, 10am; St Colman’s Church, Ellendale, 11.30am.

ANGLICAN:
Wednesday, April 5: St Matthew’s, New Norfolk, 10am.
Maundy Thursday, April 6: Meal in the St Matthew’s Church hall, New Norfolk, followed by Holy Communion around the table. No charge but bookings essential on 0409 142 872. Followed by the stripping of the sanctuary in the church.
Good Friday, April 7: 10am services at St Matthew’s, New Norfolk, and St Peter’s, Hamilton.
Easter Sunday, April 9: 10am services at St Matthew’s, New Norfolk, and St John the Baptist, Ouse.

DERWENT VALLEY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP:
