RESPECTED Lions Club of New Norfolk member Mick Kievit will take the reins of the busy service club from the start of the new financial year. The club generally holds elections in March and the incoming board operates from July 1.
For the 2023-24 year, Mr Kievit will take on the role of president, assisted by Margaret Bester as secretary and Denise Smith as treasurer. Other officer-bearers are Greg Hudson as first vice-president, Troy Bester as second vice-president, immediate past president Kerry Kievit as third vice-president, and directors Rodger Triffett, Howard Gant and Ricky Jackson.
The club acknowledges the generous support received from individuals, businesses and the community as whole. “Without that generous support the club would not be able to serve and make important contributions to families, communities and organisations,” a spokesperson said.
