New Norfolk junior football – Round 11

ROUND 11 – June 30 and July 2

ROUND 11 saw quite a number of milestone games celebrated, from 50 NNJFC club games through to 100 career junior games. In what has been a regular thing with the strengthening of relationships between the junior and senior clubs this season, Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s players were on hand to present the milestone certificates to the players.

The Under-16.5 team played on Friday night at Sorell against the South East Giants who to our team’s surprise had organised a raffle to be held at the game with the proceeds donated back to the NNJFC to assist with the recovery from the recent break-in at our clubrooms. After the game, representatives from the South East Giants came into the NNJFC changerooms to hand over $200 from the raffle and to commend the Under-16.5s on their sportsmanship and the heart they showed in their game.
