House fire in Britten St, New Norfolk

THE cause of a house fire at New Norfolk this morning will be investigated. Volunteer firefighters from the New Norfolk and Magra fire brigades responded at about 10am today (Sunday), finding smoke issuing from the building. Two people in Britten St house were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

The Mercury reports that fire investigators have deemed the $50,000 blaze to have been accidental.
