Final Flood Warning for the Styx River

Issued at 2:34pm on Wednesday 20 September 2023

Flood Warning Number 2: FLOODING EASED AT BRUCES BRIDGE WEDNESDAY MORNING

Rainfall from Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning has caused river level rises along the Styx River. River levels are currently easing along the Styx River and no further flooding is expected.

In the 24 hours to 2:00 pm Wednesday, rainfall totals of up to 43 mm have been recorded across the Styx River catchment. No further significant rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Wednesday.

Styx River:

Minor flooding has eased along the Styx River at Bruces Bridge.
