Alleged assault at Boyer Rd crash scene

A MAN is in custody following a disturbance at a crash scene near New Norfolk last night, police say. “A vehicle crashed into a power pole on Boyer Rd about 9.37pm,” a police spokesperson said. “A witness who stopped at the scene was allegedly assaulted.” 

Police say the victim was not physically injured and the alleged perpetrator was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident.
