THE wait is over for customers who have been waiting for a taste of Gigi & Co Pizzeria, the successor to New Norfolk’s most popular pizza shop, Pauly’s. Owners Nick Sportelli and Georgina Garity said dozens of orders had been received before the doors opened at 4pm today (Monday).
The shop at 34a Burnett St that was home to Pauly’s Pizza for about four years has been given a complete renovation and refurbishment, with an attractive front-of-house area greeting customers as they enter the premises.
Gigi & Co Pizza will be open each day from 4pm until late. Orders can be placed in store or by calling 6261 3393, but online orders are strongly encouraged and can be done by visiting www.gigiandcopizzeria.com.au. Online orders started rolling in as soon as the opening was announced on social media this morning, with dozens ready to go when the doors opened at 4pm.
