POLICE are seeking a 16-year-old they believe may have been part of an aggravated burglary at New Norfolk earlier today (Wednesday). Two men and another 16-year-old have already been charged in connection with the alleged offence.
“Around 2.40pm, police received information that a burglary was in progress at an address on Back River Rd,” a police spokesperson said. Several police units converged on the area and apprehended three people a short distance away from the address.
“A 39-year-old man from Dromedary, 31-year-old man from Gagebrook, and 16-year-old from New Norfolk have each been charged with aggravated burglary,” the spokesperson said. “They have been bailed to appear before the court at a later date. Investigations into the incident are ongoing to locate a fourth person involved, believed to be a 16-year-old.”
