THE annual event remembering those lost to, living with or surviving cancer will be held at Arthur Square, New Norfolk, at 11am tomorrow, Saturday, October 28. This tribute event is often called “Pink Lady Day” due to the tradition of placing pink silhouettes in the special memorial garden.
At New Norfolk, blue silhouettes are available for those specifically wishing to remember a male relative or friend in the mini field of remembrance on this day. Spokesperson Bruce Lamb said all are welcome to come along to place a “pink lady” or “blue man” with the name of someone they love.
Gather near the pink seat opposite the Star and Garter Hotel.
