Flood Watch for parts of North, North East, Huon, Derwent and South East Catchments

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY FROM SATURDAY NIGHT, WITH ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE
A low developing over southeastern South Australia is forecast to move south and rapidly deepen off the northwest coast of Tasmania on Saturday, bringing moderate to locally heavy rainfall to most of Tasmania over the weekend. The highest rainfall totals are likely in the southeast of the state from late Saturday into Sunday.
Catchments are average to moderately wet across the Flood Watch area, tending to dry in eastern parts. Widespread rainfall totals of 20 to 40 mm are forecast across the Flood Watch area on Saturday, with isolated higher totals possible. Further rainfall totals of 10 to 30 mm are forecast across the south and southeast of the state on Sunday, with isolated higher totals possible.
Minor flooding is likely to develop across the Flood Watch area from Saturday night, with isolated moderate flooding possible.

- North Esk River
- South Esk River
- Meander River
- Macquarie River
- East Coastal Rivers (north of Bicheno)
- Huon River
- Channel Coastal Rivers (South East Cape to Gordon)
- Derwent River
- Jordan River
- Coal River
- East Coastal Rivers (south of Bicheno)
- South East
