Summer fun for kids of the valley

FAMILY fun days are coming up at two locations in the Derwent Valley. The first will be held at New Norfolk tomorrow (January 19) and the second will be at Hamilton next Wednesday, January 25.

JANUARY 19 – NEW NORFOLK: Mission Australia Youthbeat will hold a summer fun day at the New Norfolk Esplanade from 10am-noon. This free program for ages 12-18 years will include a barbecue, lawn games, volleyball, spin the wheel, glitter tattoos and badge-making. All are welcome and there’s no need to book.

JANUARY 24 – HAMILTON PROGRAM: Uniting Care will provide a free school holiday event for under-12s in the grounds of the NRM Centre at 5349 Lyell Hwy (former Hamilton Primary School). This will run from 11am-1pm, with face painting, a free lunch, colour run and more. Bring a drink bottle. For more information contact Jessica on 0484 343 560.
