Central Highlands Council citizen of the year

TINA Horne, of Bothwell, was named the Central Highlands Council’s Australia Day Citizen of the Year during an event at the Bothwell Football Club on January 26.

Tina is captain of the Bothwell Bunnies Relay for Life team, which has raised more than $85,000 for cancer research since forming in 2018.

An active member of the community, Tina volunteers with the Bothwell Football Club and is a member of the local exercise group.

Presenting the award, Central Highlands Council deputy mayor Jim Allwright congratulated Tina and thanked her for her contribution to the community.
