Here’s news: Go west for a free coffee

THERE’S just under a week left to redeem your coupon from the current edition of New Norfolk and Derwent Valley News for a free coffee or other hot beverage from the Westerway Roadhouse. In fact, if you’ve got a hankering for a barista-made Botero coffee in the Derwent Valley, then Westerway is your only choice.

Go west, and have Sharyn Wakefield brew up a bevvy at the Westerway Roadhouse. It’s free with the coupon from the News and you can abandon any thoughts about “roadhouse coffee.” Sharyn’s coffee is among the best around.

The offer of a free hot drink with your purchase of the Derwent Valley and Central Highlands’ only truly local newspaper is now in its second month and the team at the Westerway Roadhouse and Post Office is looking forward to serving you. You can order a hot beverage of your choice, take away or relax in the new outdoor seating.

To obtain your free beverage at the Westerway Roadhouse simply present the coupon from the current issue of the News. The paper costs $3 and the voucher will get you a free regular-size standard hot beverage worth around $5. If you don’t have your voucher handy, you can even buy a copy of the paper containing the voucher right there at the Westerway Roadhouse.

You can’t miss the Westerway Roadhouse at 1573 Gordon River Rd, Westerway. It’s open from 6.30am-5pm on weekends and 5.30am to 6pm on weekdays (7om on Fridays). The next venue for a free coffee in the Derwent Valley will be announced in the next New Norfolk and Derwent Valley News print edition this Friday, March 1.
