A 33-year-old New Norfolk man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences alleged to have been committed recently in the Hobart and New Norfolk areas, Tasmania Police has announced. After an investigation, the man was charged yesterday (Wednesday) with the following offences:
- Three counts of stealing
- One charge of evading police with aggravated circumstances
- Five counts of driving while disqualified, with an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle
- One charge of dishonestly displaying a registration plate in a way calculated to deceive
“The man was detained and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court later today (Thursday),” a police spokesperson said.
