Early voting booth available at New Norfolk

ABOUT 500 people have already cast their votes in this Saturday’s state election by taking advantage of an early voting centre that opened in the New Norfolk War Memorial Hall yesterday (Monday) and will be available all week.

This pop-up pre-poll centre is open from 8.30am until 5.30pm tomorrow and Thursday and until 6pm on Friday. On polling day this Saturday, voting will be at the traditional New Norfolk polling places at Fairview Primary School and New Norfolk Primary School.

The full list of Derwent Valley and Central Highlands places to vote on Saturday is:

  • Bothwell: Town Hall, Alexander St
  • Dromedary: Community Hall, 14 Millvale Rd
  • Glenora: District High School (Year 7 classroom, Admin Block), 620 Gordon River Rd
  • Granton: Memorial Hall, Lyell Hwy
  • Lachlan: Community Hall, 511 Lachlan Rd
  • Magra: CWA Building, corner of Back River Rd and Saddle Rd
  • Miena: Great Lake Community Centre, 55-57 Cider Gum Rd
  • Molesworth: Community Hall, 560 Molesworth Rd
  • New Norfolk: Primary School, 8 Pioneer Ave (alternative access from Hillside Crescent)
  • New Norfolk North: Fairview Primary School hall, 211 Back River Rd
  • Ouse: Online Access Centre, 6947 Lyell Hwy
  • Westerway: Primary School , 1619 Gordon River Rd
