Eagle recruit marks 100th career game in fine fashion

EAGLES newcomer Tarn Ford celebrated her 100th career game in emphatic style on Saturday, booting eight goals and assisting in five others as New Norfolk ran away to a big win over the Brighton Robins at Boyer Oval.

The sister of senior playing coach Dylan Ford, Tarn has a long history with the Glenorchy Football Club’s women’s team and played her first game for New Norfolk at the start of this season. She has been in several all-stars teams and is also a harness racing driver.

Tarn was named the Eagles’ best-on-ground in her milestone 100th career game last Saturday. Her bag of eight majors equalled her personal best, and she gave up several other scoring opportunities in favour of her team-mates in red, white and black.
