House damaged, caravan destroyed by fire at New Norfolk

FIRE has destroyed a caravan and damaged a house in North Crescent at New Norfolk tonight (Saturday).

Crews from the New Norfolk and Magra fire brigades arrived at about 9.15pm, finding a caravan fully engulfed and the fire spreading to the adjacent house.

Police officers and TasNetworks crews are also at the scene. The house and caravan are understood to have been unoccupied at the time.
