Willow Warriors tackle Tyenna river rehabilitation

THE next Willow Warriors working bee this Saturday, May 11, will help to rehabilitate a section of riverbank upstream of Maydena. Volunteers will meet at 9.30am at the Junee Rd bridge at Maydena.

This working bee will different approach to normal, with the aim of getting 200 plants in the ground to help kickstart the riparian zone. Team leaders will demonstrate how to plant the trees and provide all the tips and tricks needed.

All hands are welcome. Equipment and refreshments will be supplied but participants are asked to bring their own lunch and water as well as wearing appropriate clothing and shoes for getting wet and muddy in.
