Fire in Kensington St unit

VOLUNTEER fire fighters from two local brigades are at the scene of a blaze in a unit at New Norfolk this afternoon (Monday). The incident was reported at about 2.15pm, with neighbours seeing flames emerging from the front window of a unit in Kensington St, near New Norfolk High School.

Police were first on the scene, closely followed by a crew from the New Norfolk Fire Brigade. Magra Fire Brigade was also quickly on the scene and Bridgewater Fire Brigade also responded. The fire was quickly extinguished and is now being investigated.
