Road Weather Alert for people in parts of Tasmania for the Upper Derwent Valley, Central Plateau, Midlands, North West Coast, Central North, North East and East Coast forecast districts

Icy roads will make driving conditions dangerous during Saturday in parts of the inland Tasmania this morning. Icy roads are expected to redevelop this evening and early Sunday morning.
For information on any road closures, please contact your local council or the Police.

Tasmania Police advises:
- If you’re on the roads, please take it slow.
- Obey any road closures or warning signs about hazardous conditions.
- Put your headlights on if visibility is poor.
- Leave plenty of space between vehicles.
