TASMANIA Fire Service crews from New Norfolk and Bridgewater responded to reports of smoke inside a unit in Kensington St, New Norfolk, this evening (Saturday).
On arrival, New Norfolk volunteer firefighters found smoke inside the unit where there had been a small fire in a sink. There was no active fire at the time of arrival and the crews worked to ventilate the unit to clear smoke.
The occupant of the unit was assessed and treated by paramedics from Ambulance Tasmania.
