House fire closed Boyer Rd

PART of Boyer Rd was closed  earlier today due to a house fire at Dromedary. Acting Sergeant Scott McKenzie of Tasmania Police said no-one had been injured in the fire, which was reported around 1pm. Boyer Rd was blocked for about 90 minutes while firefighters brought the blaze under control.

Derwent Valley roadworks

ROADWORKS will cause delays on some roads in the Derwent Valley this week. Boyer Rd, between Dromedary and New Norfolk, pavement retexturing. Reduced speed limit with frequent lane closures between 7am and 4pm on October 29. Lake Dobson Rd, from Mt Field National Park to Lake Dobson, unsealed pavement repairs.
