Helicopter rescue in the upper Derwent Valley

A MALE motorbike rider was flown by helicopter to the Royal Hobart Hospital following a single-vehicle accident at Karanja late this morning. The incident occurred on Styx Rd at Karanja, which is mid-way between Bushy Park and Westerway. Police said the rider was transported to hospital in the Westpac Rescue
